At FPC Wasilla, our mission is to know God the Father through the love of His Son in the power of the Holy Spirit and to make Him known by our words and deeds. One of the ways that we make God known is by ministering to the physical needs of our community. As a church we participate in the ministries of the Valley Christian Conference, including the Wasilla and Palmer food pantries and Treasure loft. We also offer additional resources through the ministry of our deacons. These include our furniture barn, gas vouchers and case by case assistance. Our furniture barn was started to serve those left homeless by the Big Lake fire in 1996. It continues to serve many in our community in need of furniture.
