Living God,

You freed the people of Israel from cruel slavery in Egypt and led them into a Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. We ask You to liberate all the children who are enslaved by the cruel yoke of human trafficking in our nation and around the world. Free them from their bondage. Heal their wounds, protect them from further harm, and surround them with people who will lead them to safety. Turn the hearts of their oppressors to repentance, and sustain those who suffer with hope for a new beginning filled with peace, healing, and freedom. You are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love. Draw these precious lives to Yourself. Hear their cries, save them, and let them know Your unfailing presence. Give them the assurance that every tear is seen, every wound is known, and every injustice will one day be made right. Be their refuge, their strength, and their hope. We also pray for justice. Guide law enforcement officers, investigators, prosecutors, judges, and all who work to rescue victims and dismantle trafficking networks. Grant them wisdom, courage, and perseverance to locate those who are enslaved, bring them safely to freedom, and hold traffickers accountable for their crimes. May Your light overcome the darkness, Your mercy bring healing to the brokenhearted, and Your righteousness prevail throughout the earth.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray.

Amen.

This Week’s Prayer Focus: Child trafficking Victims

Year of Prayer

We have been in the Wasilla area since before 1926 and officially part of the Presbytery for 80 years. Our church started as an “out station”, served by Nenana missionaries who traveled by railroad. While much has changed in our church’s life, our commitment to worship, fellowship, and service endures.
